A Little Introduction

A little about this blog and my self. My name is Marie and I am currently enrolled in college, I am not going to say which one or where I am seeing as that would be plain stupidity on my part. A few things I like to do involve theater, really, anything in theater is awesome, and writing and filmmaking. I am, in no way, a professional in any area. I have only done community plays, made some films for high school, and only ever written fictional books for me. Just to clear that up quickly. Some day I hope to direct movies, act in movies, and write fictional books and scripts. But that will be in the future. Enough about me, on to the blog itself.

Ver Sacrum is an Ancient Roman legend about a country that was at war, starving, and corrupt. Long story short, the people of the country ended up sacrificing their children born during the spring so that they could gain peace. No, they did not kill their children, the priests took these children into the mountains to train them in body, mind, and spirit so that, one day, the youth could return and renew the land. The Ver Sacrum of today are all young people who are willing to fight for their country and their freedom. Hopefully I'll be able to bring some good and change through this blog.

Let me know what you would like to hear from me and what you think of the posts I will write after this. They won't all be like this one, so let me know what you really think and not what you think I'd like to hear. As cheesy as this sounds, I really don't want it to be all about me but what you want. I hope you find at least some amusement in what I write.
